Camping is free at the Catskill Chill, with the purchase of a ticket. Campers may set up their tents in any of the designated camping areas of the New Minglewood. Make your self at home in one of our spacious grassy fields and enjoy these autumn nights under the stars. Some of the camping areas are close enough to hear the music, while the farthest camping area is no more than a fifteen minute walk from the main stage.
Here are some camping guidelines:
NO TENT STAKES LONGER THAN 8 INCHES
Stakes longer than 8 inches may rupture underground plumbing!!
NO OPEN FIRES
No open fires will be permitted. It’s for everyone’s safety. Charcoal grills are NOT PERMITTED. Small propane grills are permitted. However, anyone bringing in a grill must have a working fire extinguisher with the gauge in the green zone. (Tiki torches are considered open flame and are not permitted.)
NO CONTRABAND OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND
No weapons, No Nitrous tanks or illegal substances of any kind. Please remove any tools from your car ie… chain saws, knifes, hammers etc….
NO CAR CAMPING
New Camp Minglewood has separate parking and camping areas. New Minglewood provides an easy walk from your car to camping. Attendees will be able to walk to their cars at all times during the festival. Those who wish to sleep in their buses, vans or mini buses must purchase a pass for the RV Lot.
NO GLASS BOTTLES
We have a strict NO GLASS policy. Upon entry ALL VEHICLES WILL BE SEARCHED. Please bring beverages in cans or plastic containers only.
It is unsafe to use them in regular general camping. Generators will only be allowed in the RV camping area.
PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES
Separate containers will be provided for garbage and recyclables. Please do not leave trash in your camping area.
There will be no unauthorized Vending in the camping area. To obtain a vending permit, please email the festival here.

PARK ONLY IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS
Staff personel will be on hand to direct festivalgoers to the parking lots.
BE AWARE OF THE BANNED ITEMS
All vehicles will be searched before they enter the parking lots. Please remove all banned items from car before you depart for the Chill. All Banned items will be confiscated.
