Love the venue and the people, but does anyone else think the lineup is a little disappointing?April 10, 2013 at 10:15 am #528
maybe just a little. but not really man, they brought back so many great acts in addition to the new ones like papadosio, george porter jr……you’re getting RAQ, conspirator, dopapod, kung fu…..what more could you ask for?! UM maybe. but I highly doubt they’ll ever return to Chill.
who knows, maybe they will announce some late-summer headliners. but if you ask me there really isn’t much to complain about here!April 17, 2013 at 12:59 am #532
I think this is better than last years lineup personally, probably the best year yet. The Meters are one of the most influential funk groups of all time, and they have the keys player from Phish playing with them…. Lotus, Galactic, Conspirator, Lettuce, Dosio… The Motet Funk is Dead is the sax player from Big Gigantic and they do the sickest dead covers I’ve heard… Dopapod, CTS Acoustic, Cabinet (best bluegrass band around IMO), Jimkata, Twiddle, Turkuaz (best funk band I’ve ever seen), Mantras, Fikus, Particle. And that’s just listing the bands I have on my iPod. I’m hoping Lotus gets a Latenight set this year the night The Meter Men play, and that Papadosio also gets a late night.April 21, 2013 at 2:14 am #539
A shame this is the weekend after Mantrabash, and 9.5 hours away from me on top of that.
The Mantras, TLG, Brock, Ghost Owl, Kung Fu, Raq, Lotus, Lettuce, Consider the Source Acoustic=epic in my book…and the rest of the lineup ain’t too shabby either!

There is nothing at all disappointing about this lineup. Nothing. The quality goes deep. I can count over 20 bands that I am seriously excited to see.June 7, 2013 at 10:47 am #555
There is a ton of quality here, but would have liked to see a little more…. BoomBox and Deputy combined with the current lineup would of made 2013.June 25, 2013 at 8:51 pm #557
Im with Lunchbox. This is a sick, sick lineup. My legs hurt just thinking about it. There is going to be an incredible amount of energy every day. Sleep is for the weak.July 20, 2013 at 1:56 pm #571
Its all personal preference I guess, but I think this is pretty much the BEST lineup of the summer for any festival. Motet, Raq, Kung Fu, Turkuaz, Galactic, Papadosio, Brothers Past, Lotus, Conspirator, Tea Leaf, Lettuce, not to mention Page with the Metermen! Tom Hamilton and friends include Brownie? Im coming out from Colorado for this party!July 20, 2013 at 1:57 pm #572
Lunchbox – Love it Turkuaz best funk band!August 20, 2013 at 6:56 am #616
